What Is Going On With COVID Right Now?
Do You Still Believe This Is Just About a Virus?
Today I want to talk about COVID and the dreaded omicron variant. According to the Powers that Be, and the media, omicron is the dominant strain of COVID in the world right now, as well as the one we should fear the most. Never mind that the South African doctor that discovered the strain, says it is the weakest variety yet and is not any worse than the common cold. Anthony Fauci and the media know better, and how dare you question him, He Is Science.
They don’t want you to listen to the medical experts who say, that while, it might be the most transmissible variant, omicron is far from the most deadly. Even the first real world study of omicron from South Africa says that omicron will be more mild than any other variety read it here. Politicians, on the other hand don’t want you to see this kind of information, in fact, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the other day that he doesn’t care how mild it is, we should be as worried about omicron as we were about the delta variant and if you watch CNN or MSNBC you might think that there are going to be bodies in the street and this is the end of the world.
Fauci and his media lackeys, as well as the President, are stirring up panic at every turn and mayors and governors in blue areas are jumping on board, declaring new states of emergency and further rounds of mask mandates to keep “everyone safe”. Airlines are cancelling flights left and right, even on Christmas, the busiest travel day of the year. New York City has cancelled New Year’s Eve in Times Square and you can’t watch five minutes of TV without seeing a story about how bad the COVID situation is. Every other commercial is about getting the vaccination. Here in Michigan there is a commercial running asking little kids, kids under ten, why they wanted to get the vaccination. Do those kids even understand what is going on or are they just repeating what their parents are telling them?
We can’t even escape into sports the NCAA are cancelling bowl games and the NFL, NBA and NHL are also stoking the fear by postponing games and announcing how many players are testing positive of COVID every day. The NHL has even withdrawn their players from the Olympics over “COVID fears” putting the burden of fielding teams back on the individual countries, less than two months before the start of the games.
Speaking of the sports world, I thought the NHL said only one of their players wasn’t vaccinated, if that’s the case, then what do they have to worry about? The NFL has a long list of players every week that have tested positive for COVID but according to their own numbers 95%+ of NFL players are vaccinated and the NBA says that every player except the evil Kyrie Irving have received the jab. Apparently the situation is so bad in the NBA, that the Brooklyn Nets, Kyrie’s team, the team that suspended him at the beginning of the season, because of his reluctance to get the vax, is begging him to come back and play. I’m sure that MLB would be saying the same thing if they were not on a lock out (I’ll be talking about that soon enough). If this is true and the “vaccine” works how is it possible that so many players are testing positive? That goes against rational thought. One might start to think that the “vaccine” doesn’t really work.
Doctor Anthony (I am Science) Fauci, his minions and the rest of the political left are trying to have their cake and eat it too in regards to COVID. They want you to get the vaccine, they spend a huge amount of time and money telling you how safe and effective it is. But at the same time they want you to live in fear of whatever the latest variant is. Fauci is always on TV telling Americans that they need to keep wearing their masks and watching who they are around. On Thursday the CEO of American Airlines testified in front of Congress and said that the mask mandate on flights is pointless because of the quality of the recycled air on planes. On Sunday, Fauci was on ABC’s This Week and said that they are wrong that we should never even consider getting rid of masks on planes. Watch it here, go to 10:12 of the video. He has even said you shouldn’t invite any non-vaccinated people to Christmas and New Year parties, because you could still get and spread COVID even if you are vaccinated. In other words, if you are not careful and don’t follow all our edicts you could KILL Grandma!
I believe the reason for the panic, the establishment is obviously trying to cause, is that they feel the power they have acquired over the last 21 months is slipping away. People were coming to grips with the virus and were getting tired of all the disruptions to everyday life and just wanted to get back to normal or at the minimum, be allowed to make their own decisions in regards to COVID. Well, Fauci and the democrats couldn’t have that, could they. In the spring of 2020 when this whole thing first started, Fauci and his ilk were shocked when Americans just rolled over and gave up so many rights over a disease that only killed 5% of the people that caught it. They couldn’t believe their luck and they took advantage of that, shutting down almost everything across the country. In the spring of 2021 things were starting to trend to the good, with restaurants and gyms opening back up. Then the delta variant was discovered and the panic parade went right back to work. The left saw the renewed panic when word that delta might be so deadly that only 94% of the people that got it survived. However, over the last few months even that was beginning to fade. So Fauci and the gang needed a new strain to ratchet up the panic again and omicron was discovered just at the perfect time. They just need to control the narrative, which is easier with their allies in the mainstream media running interference and controlling access to relevant information. Now they have the tool to encourage Americans into following them back down the rabbit hole of panic and fear.
Always remember that this rabbit hole is just for you, Joe Q. Public, not for the elite. You are supposed to live in fear inside your house with a face diaper on at all times, while they attend large lavish parties, unmasked, then lecture you for daring to go to the store without your mask on or asking when all this might be over. The elites can enjoy a normal life and IF they get caught violating a mandate, they just make an excuse and blame the right, “anti-vaxers” or racists. Anyone that dares to question any of the narratives are called “conspiracy theorists”, “dangerous radicals” or “mass murderers”.
“Because I said so” isn’t that good of a strategy for a parent and it is an even worse one for a government that, according to our Founding Fathers, gets its power from the Consent of the Governed. If a citizen is not given the relevant information or at least, access to that information, then how are they supposed to give consent, and if they can’t give consent is this still the country it once was? There are just too many things that don’t meet the smell test when it comes to COVID and the government’s response to it. It should give the thinking people of this country pause.
To review, the doctor that discovered this variant, as well as many other members of the medical community have stated that the omicron strain is more transmissible than even the delta variant but is far less serious. It is equated with a normal cold. The kind of cold that millions of Americans get every year, and one that doesn’t stop most people from doing anything they would normally do. So why are the politicians and un-elected “public health” officials getting ready to shut everything down again? In their opinion Americans still have a spark of the God-given freedom they have been trying to stamp out, and only another series of soul-crushing, economy-wrecking lock downs will finally kill America as we have known and loved it, setting the stage for their “post-pandemic” America.
I’m not saying that COVID isn’t real or that people aren’t dying from it, I know it is and people are dying, but I have never believed the numbers right from the very beginning of this “pandemic”. We have all heard about someone in our areas dying of a heart attack and the death being listed as a COVID death because they had COVID when they died. In my small area of Michigan, I know there was one of those cases as well. There was also a case where the person died in a car accident and another where the deceased was shot to death but both were marked down as COVID deaths because the victims had it when they died. If you have had a loved one die, I’m sorry for your loss, but people died every day before this as well and we used to be ok with living our lives with a certain amount of risk.
According to the Department of Transportation at least 1,000 people die every month in car crashes just on the interstate highway system. If the speed limit was reduced to 20 MPH that figure would be reduced significantly but our morning commute would take much longer and food, as well as other supplies would take longer to get to stores, in general our lives would be thrown into chaos. We trade those 1,000 lives for the ability to perform our daily tasks in a more efficient and timely manner. We should be doing the same for COVID. The vast majority of people that get COVID are not going to die from it and we need to stop living our lives like we’re going to die from COVID and just start living our lives.
