I Just Don't Understand?

How can the people of Virginia see things so differently than me?

The Virginia Governor's race is coming to an end and the more I see and read the more I don't understand how it can be this close. Terry McAuliffe and the democrats are putting forward policies that are bad for the majority of Virginians. This is not a right of left thing nor is it a racial thing, it is just a fact. Take his plan for schools in Virginia for example.

If Mr. McAuliffe wins he intends to have school district boundaries redrawn using “anti-racist” criteria. That would mean that parents that have moved to specific areas because of the schools, could find their children being bussed to other schools to satisfy “anti-racist” quotas. Also remember that Mr. McAuliffe was Governor of Virginia from 2014 to 2018 and his former Lieutenant Governor, Ralph “Blackface” Northam has been running things since 2018. So, if this was such an issue, how come they didn’t fix it then? I saw an article today on Fox News stating that McAuliffe thinks the teachers in Virginia or too white and he wants to create incentives to bring more minority teachers to Virginia. Here's the link. I also saw another article about a mother in Louden County who's daughter asked her if she was evil because she was born white read it here. That should break everyone’s heart and be a call to action to bury these insane policies. How about McAuliffe’s comment that parents should have no say in the type of information taught in the schools their children attend and their tax dollars pay for check it out here. That should outrage both liberals and conservative parents. The idea the a person running for an elected position, would think that, let alone say it out loud, was beyond the pale only a few years ago. Why would half the people in Virginia agree with this? Are they communists or morons? Do they not understand the issues or do they just not care? Are they the typical “low information voters”, the kind of people who say “I vote democrat because my family always has” or are they hard-core snowflakes who won’t pick a gender for their child until that child picks one themselves? Any normal red-blooded American should take one look at this mess that calls himself a human and run the other way. Terry McAuliffe is just one of large number of politicians, on every level of government, that are destroying the fabric of the greatest country in the history of the world.

Ok, I will get off my soapbox now, I know that I can get a little excited about these kinds of issues but I try not to descend too far into raving lunatic mode.
